The New Way To Muxtape

Now that Tumblr allows the use of outside urls for audio posts, we have full control of our online mixtape again.

Here are my instructions for making your new muxtape:

1. Upload 12 carefully chosen songs to an ftp*.
2. Create a new tumblr such as “zackmcteetape.tumblr.com**”
3. Visit Tumbltape.com and type in your new tumblr url.
4. Enjoy!

There it is, full control of your digital mixtape!

*If you don’t have an ftp, you can create something that will work just the same. Go to http://www.getdropbox, and sign up, it’s an amazing, free application that I’ve fallen in love with. You can put all your music in your public folder and copy the urls from there (this is way simpler than it sounds…go to the site and check it out.
